
Julia is a graduate (with honors) of the Baku Ballet School )Azerbaijan, formerly part of the Soviet Union(. Upon completing her studies, she joined the ballet company of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in Baku as a dancer.
After immigrating to Israel in 1991, she joined the Israel Ballet as a dancer. Following her years on stage, she transitioned into various administrative and managerial roles within the company, eventually serving as Marketing Director and Advisor to the CEO.
In 2017, after a year with Bimot Global, Julia embarked on an independent career in marketing and artistic consulting for dance companies.
Julia’s career has spanned a broad range of responsibilities, including performance marketing, local and international recruitment of dancers, choreographers, ballet teachers, and competition judges, as well as coordinating courses, workshops, guest performances, tours, and managing artistic collaboration projects. In her various roles, she has developed strong ties with dancers, choreographers, company directors, competitions, festivals, and producers in the dance industry both in Israel and abroad.
In addition to her professional experience, Julia holds a master's degree in French language teaching (Pyatigorsk State University, Russia) and is a graduate of the Cultural and Arts Institution Management program at Tel Aviv University.
Julia assumed the role of CEO of the Jerusalem Ballet in July 2024.
