
The Jerusalem Ballet Company
The Jerusalem Ballet Company was established in 2008 by Nadya Timofeyeva, the Artistic Director, and Marina Neeman, the CEO at that time.
In its performances around Israel and abroad the company presents works on Israeli, Jewish, and international themes, created by both young and veteran Israeli choreographers as well as guest artists from abroad.
These works draw from the traditions of classical ballet, neoclassical, modern, and contemporary styles. The company’s audience is diverse, including children, youth, seniors, participants in educational programs, tourists, and the general public from all demographics, in Israel and abroad
. Among the company’s dancers are graduates of the Jerusalem Ballet School, alumni of the Company’s training program, Israeli-born ballet dancers, and new immigrants.
