He Walked Through The Fields

This narative drew insperation from the famous novel "He Walked Through The Fields" by Moshe Shamir. 

The new ballet recreates the Zionist myth of the 1940s, a period of struggles between Jews and Arabs when the British Mandate ruled Israel. A love story between Mika, a holocaust survivor, a refugee from Poland, and Uri, a savior of the Palma Hanik, the mythical kibbutznik. The book was a resounding success in being adapted for theater and cinema. The love story between Mika and Uri is considered one of the most moving and beautiful stories seen on the Israeli stage.
