The ballet Memento is a stage adaptation based on a series of historical events centered around the figure of a Jewish ballet dancer named Franceska Mann. The ballet’s storyline portrays the vibrant cultural and social life of Mann and her family on the eve of World War II, and the twists of fate that led to her final act of heroism in the Auschwitz extermination camp.
Memento serves as a powerful tool for teaching the subject of the Holocaust to the next generation.
This performance is available in both a studio version and a full stage production.
The ballet is approved by the Ministry of Culture and by Gefen (for elementary schools).
