Martin Shönberg

Mr. Martin Schönberg was born and trained in Johannesburg, South Africa in a variety of Dance styles. He completed his dance training with Marika Bessobrasova in Monte Carlo.

After his professional dance career with The Royal Ballet of Flanders and The Zürich Ballet he established Ballet Theatre Afrikan in Johannesburg.

Since 1990 Mr. Schönberg has been involved with the teaching and training of classical dancers whilst maintaining his participation in many other disciplines and points of focus.

In 2022 Mr. Schönberg made Aliyah and is presently teaching and coaching full time with The Jerusalem Ballet.
